So i DO NOT suggest refills as the small savings are not worth the hassle putting Dell back in the drivers seat. They sent me a way to bypass it, but it didn't work.

There is also a company that will sell you refills for the printer. So that is why i bought 2 of these printers-because the cost of the ink i had on hand was more money than the 2 printers. I am being very conservative with that amount. a year using the Brother compared to the Dell.

We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The computer recognizes the printer but does not print any pages, some go into que but dont print.
